Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated former Governor of Kano State and former Minister of Defence, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
The Independent Mirror reports that this was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by the Director-General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Kano, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
Governor Yusuf described the milestone as an important occasion to celebrate Senator Kwankwaso’s life, leadership and contributions to the development of Kano State and Nigeria.
He acknowledged Kwankwaso’s role in the political development of Kano State, noting that his birthday provides an opportunity to reflect on his years of public service and contributions to governance, infrastructure development and the growth of democratic participation in the state.
