The Independent Mirror reports that Ahmad announced the appointment while sharing the list of officials selected to serve in the directorate, which is expected to play a key role in the party’s digital communication, public engagement and mobilisation efforts.

He said the directorate would deploy digital media, technology, innovation and strategic communication to publicise the government’s achievements, engage citizens and mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in 2027.

Ahmad added that the directorate would collaborate with the APC Presidential Campaign Council, City Boy Movement, Arewa for Asiwaju, Abba Go Again Movement, AbbaGaro Movement and other relevant stakeholders and support groups.

According to him, the directorate would adopt an inclusive and collaborative approach by welcoming fresh ideas and encouraging the participation of digital media professionals, content creators, technology enthusiasts and volunteers from Kano State and beyond.

“We will reach out and invite you to be part of this journey. Together, we will build a stronger digital engagement platform, amplify our message, and work towards victory in 2027,” Ahmad said.
