Posters bearing the images of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, have flooded strategic locations across Kano metropolis.
The Independent Mirror reports that the posters were sighted along State Road, leading to the Kano State Government House and the Nassarawa Palace, where Bayero is currently residing.
They were also seen along Emirs Palace Road, leading to the palace occupied by the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The locations where the posters were displayed are significant, as they include routes around the seat of the state government and the palaces associated with the two emirs amid the lingering traditional leadership dispute in Kano.

However, it was not immediately clear the motive behind their display or whether they were part of a coordinated campaign.
The development comes against the backdrop of the protracted dispute over the Kano emisship, which has continued to attract public attention since the reinstatement of Sanusi II as emir and the subsequent legal and political contest surrounding the position.
The sighting of the posters of Bayero, Tinubu and Governor Yusuf in the same locations has added a new dimension to the unfolding political and traditional developments in the state.
