The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Abubakar Kabir Bichi, has urged All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in Kano State to maintain unity and cooperation as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.
The Independent Mirror reports that Rep Bichi made the call on Tuesday during a strategic meeting with 24 APC candidates for the House of Representatives from Kano State.
He stressed that cooperation and effective coordination among the candidates would be crucial to the party’s preparations for the elections.
According to him, the meeting provided an opportunity for the candidates to assess their readiness, harmonise their strategies and strengthen their commitment to the party’s objectives in Kano State and beyond.
“The meeting gave us the opportunity to assess our preparations, harmonise our strategies and renew our commitment to achieving the party’s goals in Kano State and beyond,” Bichi said.

The lawmaker thanked the candidates for their participation and contributions, urging them to sustain their cooperation as election preparations intensify.
“We must sustain unity and cooperation as we step up preparations for the elections.
Our ability to mobilise effectively and coordinate our campaigns will be crucial to securing victory for the APC in Kano State and across the country,” he said.
Bichi also reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to delivering development to the people.
