Kano State indigenous forward Adamu Ibrahim Musa, popularly known as Falcao, has finished third in the Somalia Premier League highest goal-scorers’ chart with 15 goals.
The Independent Mirror reports that Adamu also helped his club, Heegan FC, finish second in the league with 50 points, just one point behind champions Gaadiidka FC, who finished with 51 points.
The forward, who previously featured for NPFL sides Kano Pillars and Barau FC, made a strong impression in the Somalia Premier League through his dedication, impressive performances and determination.
Falcao played 17 matches and scored 15 goals in his first-ever season in the Somalia Premier League, highlighting his goal-scoring ability and consistency.
He previously played for Shehe FC, Galadima FC, WRECA and other football clubs in Kano State.
While playing for Junior Pillars, Adamu reportedly scored over 40 goals for Junior Kano Pillars between 2020 and his promotion to the senior team of Kano Pillars.
During his time with Barau Football Club, the forward was also awarded the prestigious Man of the Match title by the Kano State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) following his outstanding performance, including a superb goal, as Barau FC defeated Wikki Tourists 2-1 in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Adamu Ibrahim will now lead Heegan Sports Club into the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League 2026/2027, where they will face Sudanese giants El Merriekh.

According to the CAF official calendar, the first preliminary-round matches are scheduled to take place in early September 2026, marking the beginning of the new continental club season.
The first-leg encounter between Somalia’s Heegan FC and El Merriekh of Sudan is scheduled for September 5, 2026, in Sudan, while the second leg will take place on September 12, 2026.
