Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has commended his Special Adviser on Social Media, Ibrahim Adam, for his significant contributions to promoting the achievements of his administration.
The Independent Mirror reports that Governor Yusuf gave the commendation on Thursday during a meeting with all elected and appointed state government officials at the Government House in Kano.
Ibrahim Adam was initially appointed as the Special Adviser on Information before Governor Yusuf created the Office of the Special Adviser on Social Media and appointed him to head it.
The governor praised Ibrahim Adam for his outstanding efforts in publicizing the activities and achievements of the state government across various social media platforms, noting that he has played a vital role in bringing government policies and projects closer to the public.
“Let me tell you one thing. When I realized that Ibrahim Adam was more active and effective on social media, I decided to create the Office of the Special Adviser on Social Media and appointed him to serve in that capacity,” Governor Yusuf said.
He added: “Ibrahim Adam is well informed about all our projects. He truly deserves recognition for his commitment and dedication to promoting the activities of our government.”
Ibrahim Adam, a Political Science graduate from Bayero University, Kano, is one of the state’s vibrant social media influencers.
He has been widely recognized for strategically showcasing the achievements and policies of the present administration through digital platforms.
Governor Yusuf also encouraged Ibrahim Adam to remain committed to his responsibilities and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him through continued hard work, loyalty, dedication, and selfless service.
