The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabiru Yusuf, has launched a 5 million tree-planting campaign at Yan Bawa in Makoda Local Government .
The Independent Mirror reports that the campaign, launched on Sunday, aims to distribute trees across all 44 local government areas of the state.
The initiative seeks to combat climate change, enhance urban beautification, and promote environmental sustainability.
