The director general of the National Productivity Centre (NPC) Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, has disbursed N900 million cash grants to 10,000 President Tinubu Support Groups including youths and women from Northwestern state.
The Independent mirror reports that the program Tagged ( Hon. Engr Abba Kabiru Bichi Empowerment) was held on Tuesday in Kano, aimed at the effort to engage Youth with petty businesses and be self-reliant.
Speaking at the event, Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, said the program is designed to help cushion the effects of the harsh economic realities facing the society.
“My hope is to always give a helping hand to complement President Tinubu’s administration efforts to empower youths and women.”
Dan’agundi commended President Tinubu, for his unwavering commitment to advancing men and women’s empowerment and gender equality in Nigeria.
Also, Baffa Dan’agundi applauded Honorable Abubakar Bichi’s gesture, assured of his support from all members of the northwest support group.
Dan’agundi lauded the extreme leadership of the National Chairman of the APC Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Kano state APC chairman Abdullahi Abbas.
The over ten thousands Youth from Northwestern Support Group of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, benefit with cars, motorcycle, rice, flour, sewing machine, pasta machine and cash grants.
The event was attended by members of the APC, from National level, representative, government officials, and other prominent personalities.
