President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to visit Adamawa State on Monday for an official engagement that will see him inaugurate key projects and interact with stakeholders in the state.

The Independent Mirror reports that this was disclosed in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Sunday.

According to the statement, “President Bola Tinubu will on Monday pay an official visit to Adamawa State, less than 48 hours after he made a similar visit to Kebbi.”

During the one-day visit, the President will commission several completed projects and hold meetings with top government functionaries, as well as traditional rulers in the state.

The statement noted that projects billed for inauguration in Yola and Jimeta include “the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road linking Gimba and the capital.”

It added that a model school comprising pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary classes will also be inaugurated by the President.

Other projects scheduled for commissioning include a new multipurpose hall, a remodelled High Court, a newly built officers’ complex, and a renovated Government House.

Onanuga further stated that “the President will return to Abuja after the inauguration and interaction with the state’s indigenes.”

The visit comes barely two days after the President’s trip to Kebbi State, as he continues engagements across the country.

In another development last week, reports indicated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are expected to attend the grand reception to welcome Abba Kabir Yusuf into the ruling party.

The event, scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2026, will be held at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano, and is anticipated to attract top political figures and party faithful from across the country.

However, as of Sunday — a day before the reception — there has been no official announcement regarding President Tinubu’s visit to Kano to welcome Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf into the APC.
