Federation Cup Final: Rabi’u Tata Confident of Victory Over Kano Pillars

Barau Football Club’s interim technical adviser, Rabi’u Tata, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure victory against Kano Pillars in state president federation cup final.

The Independent Mirror reports that, Speaking to Premier Radio on Saturday evening, Tata assured fans that the team would make every necessary effort to defeat Sai Masu Gida.

Tata, emphasized that his experience in the competition would play a key role in guiding Barau FC to victory in this crucial match.

“Yeah, I’m hopeful the players will deliver,“Let me remind you that I have experience in the Federation Cup in recent years.”

“I know Kano Pillars have won the cup multiple times, but I also have my own philosophy and expertise, which I gained from different clubs,” Tata added.

It will be recalled that Rabi’u Tata led Kebbi United to the semi-finals of the President Federation Cup last year, where he lost to El-Kanemi Warriors in a penalty shootout (1-0).

On the other hand, Kano Pillars won the Kano State Federation Cup last year, also claimed the President Federation Cup title in 2019, defeating Niger Tornadoes 4-3 in a penalty shootout at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Zaria, Kaduna State.

Barau FC will take on Kano Pillars in the Kano State President Federation Cup final at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, on Sunday at 4pm.
