Abubakar Muhammad Jibrin (Abubakar Sadiq), has struggled to renew and drive to shore up the newly promoted Nigerian National League NNL Barau Football Club, to engage fans and attract business sponsors for the team.
The Independent Mirror reports According to a Statement issued by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, the Barau FC Media Officer said that, Sadiq has already been appointed as the team Marketing Manager, where he started the collaboration for the revenue goals of sporting arenas and professional sports franchises.
Abubakar Sadiq was born in Kano. He works with Guarantee Radio as Head of Sports Desk, one of the sports presenters in Nigeria.
In a letter conveying the appointment and signed by Alhaji Ibrahim Chanji, the Chairman of Barau FC, appoint Abubakar Sadiq as the team’s Marketing Manager.
Sadiq is set to assist the club to secure corporate endorsements and exploit existing and new revenue generation, yielding opportunities for the club within the NNL and beyond.
With the hope and expectation, he is going to oversee the marketing strategy, regular interaction with executives and administrators in Nigeria and other countries.
Barau FC is set to have two players leaving the country, including one from midfield and one from the attacking side, after they have been seen by foreign football scouts in the match between Barau FC and Clever Warriors last month in Bwari Abuja.
Barau FC has already been promoted to the Nigerian National Legue NNL, following their victory against Yoca Crocodiles of Kaduna state via penalty shootout on Sunday.
