The Confederation of the African Football body, has confirmed the qualified countries for the upcoming 2025 Championship of African Nations.
The Independent Mirror reports that the 8th edition of the continental championship, reserved exclusively for footballers is playing their trade with clubs in their country’s domestic leagues and possessing standard contracts.
The upcoming competition slated for February 1st to 28th, 2025 in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Recalls that on Saturday, Nigerian home-based Eagles defeated rival Ghana 3-1 over the two legs to be among the qualified countries.
18 countries, including Nigeria, Morocco, Niger, hosts Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, are among the countries to participate in the tournament.
The 18 qualified teams for CHAN 2025: Morocco, Guinea, Senegal Mauritania, Niger, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Central African Republic.
Others, Congo, DR Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, Zambia, Angola and Madagascar.
