Benue State government will host the 20 media officers of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clubs this week

The Independent Mirror reports that the two-day workshop is billed to take place in Makurdi this week.

The programme is scheduled for Thursday 15-16, August 2024 ahead the NPFL season.

The theme of the event is the significance of media in the growth and success of football as a global business.

The 2024-25 NPFL season will commence on Saturday, August 31.

Reigning NPFL champions, Rangers will square up with Federation Cup winner El-Kanemi Warriors in the opening fixture of the new season.
