Ex-Kano Deputy Gov. Aminu Abdussalam emerges as NDC governorship candidate, Gawuna accepts senatorial ticket

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam, has emerged as the NDC governorship candidate in Kano, as major contender, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, accepted the Kano Central senatorial ticket.

The Independent Mirror reports that Mr. Gawuna had earlier rejected the senatorial offer, but after due consultation with his political allies, he accepted the ticket.
