President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has renewed his administration’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture.
The Independent Mirror reported that President Tinubu voiced the resolve today in Abuja while launching the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal Fund.
The president, in appreciation of the efforts of fallen heroes, has also approved eighteen billion naira for the payment of insurance and other entitlements of service men who lost their lives in the course of operations.
He stressed that the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem remains a symbol of remembrance and a beacon of hope for a peaceful future.
