Barau Football Club, from Kano State, will continue to lead the Jigawa Dutse Centre Group A table in the Ongoing Nationwide League One NLO 2023/2024 season.
The Independent Mirror reports that In a statement issued by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Media Officer Barau FC, said that, despite the team loss against SBS FC on Wednesday by 1-0, Barau FC lead the table with 6 points.
Jigawa Dutse Stadium is one of the NLO Centre that witnessed the NLO matches. Also, for now, all three matches have been concluded as Barau FC top the table.
On the first day at Dutse Stadium, Barau FC defeated Albarka FC 2-1, SBS FC lost against Sabon Gari 1-0, while Ganduje Babies and Hausawa United battled in the match draw, showcasing their competitiveness.
On match day 2, Barau FC again emerged victorious with a dominant 2-0 win over Hausawa United, displaying their prowess on the field, but on match day 3, Barau FC lost 1-0 against SBS FC on Wednesday.
With all these three matches, Barau Football Club lead the NLO Dutse Centre Group A by 6 points clear, following SBS FC with the same point with different goals.
Ganduje Babies emerged in third position in the table, the same point as Hausawa United by 4 points. The other, Sabon Gari, remained in 5th position with 4 points and Albarka, with 1 point, in the last position at the centre.
On Friday 26 April 2024, match day 4 will continue as Barau FC face Ganduje Babies, and Hausawa United will be travelling to Sabon Gari, while the last match is between SBS and Albarka FC.
The Barau Football Club Coach Muhammad Yusha’u Madu, has urged his players to maintain their victory in order to, gate the Promotion in Dutse Centre Group A Table.
Muhammad Madu has led the Barau Football Club to two victories in the Ongoing NLO. The first match, Barau FC won over Albarka FC 2-1 on Saturday, while the second, Barau FC defeated Hausawa United 2-0 on Monday.
The Nationwide League One NLO 2023/2024 is going on in a different Centre in Nigeria, as every winner centre will compete in the Final Stage Super 8.
