The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin Maliya CON,, has distributed One Sharon and Homa Cars to the Barau Football Club.
The Independent Mirror reported that hundreds of supporters and well-wishers witnessed the distribution of the vehicles on Sunday in Kano State.
Distributing the cars, Senator Barau said the gesture was to ease the movements of the team to all their state movements across the state and Nigeria.
Represented by his Chief of Staff, Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdullahi, he reiterated his commitment to make the team full and contribute to boosting the sport in the country.
He urged the team to take good advantage of the vehicles and utilize them to maintain themselves and other support in the region.
The Chairman of Barau Football Club, Ibrahim Shehu Chanji, commends Barau Jibrin Maliya for his commitment to the club and all sports activities.
He also said, since the establishment of the Academy two years ago, it has achieved a lot of success.
The Nationwide League One of Nigeria [NLO], announced that the Barau Football Club has been elevated to participate in the National League One Division this season.
The Barau Jibrin Football Club was established in 2021 under Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin Maliya CON, in order to promote sports activities that will create employment and opportunities for youths.
