The former chief of the Air Staff, Muhammad Dikko Umar rited, has commissioned the Eye Centre, Trauma Complex, commandant office and blocks to Kano Air Force Base Service Group.
The Independent Mirror reports that the ceremony held on Tuesday, attended by Nigerian chief of air staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and heads of security agencies in Kano state.
The blocks, eye centre, trauma complex at NAF base Kano, as well as commandant office in the Aminu Kano Internation Airfort, were renovated by the Nigerian air force, aimed to accommodate military officers.
In his welcoming address speech Ahmad Yusuf Dare, the Nigerian Air Force base training commander Kaduna, said that the newly renovated blocks to improved living conditions and motivated effective force.
While speaking the Nigerian chief of air staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his contribution towards security and welfare.
Hassan Abubakar, also reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare officer to the Nigerian air force security, assured support and enhanced the development of the security personnel.
The former chief of the Air Staff, Muhammad Dikko Umar said that the facilities is expected to enhance the welfare and operational readiness of military personnel stationed within every barrack.
The event was also attended by the commander, 455 Base service group of the Nigerian air force, Kano, Group Captain Mustapha Sulaiman, Kano state commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, fipma, mnim.
Others including representative from the Kano State Government, Nigeria road safety, Nigerian customs Kano command, and head of the security agencies among others.
