The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on Friday night paid a courtesy visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Kano.
The Independent Mirror reports that the purpose of the meeting was not disclosed, as Obasanjo is currently in Kano on an official assignment.
The development was disclosed by Kwankwaso’s media aide, Saifullahi Hassan, in a Facebook post on Friday night.

“Former President Obasanjo is currently in Kano on an official assignment and the visit provided an opportunity for warm exchanges he wrote.
Hassan further disclosed that Kwankwaso was accompanied by the New Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, during the visit.
