Thousands of Kano residents on Wednesday welcomed the state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as he returned from the 2025 Hajj operations.
The Independent Mirror reports that the aircraft that brought the governor and his team from Saudi Arabia via Lagos landed around 2:50 pm.
The mammoth crowd that accompanied the governor from the airport on a journey of less than twenty minutes to the government house through Murtala Mohammed way lasted over five hours.
