Edo Gov. Announces 70 Thousand as New Minimum Wage

Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo state, has approved a new N70,000 minimum wage for the state’s civil servants.

The Independent Mirror reports that the governor made the announcement while commissioning Edo state’s new Labour House on Monday, April 29.

According to him, the anticipated minimum wage will come into effect on May 1st, 2024.
