Ibrahim Yunusa Sulaiman, Barau FC forward, has been invited to the Nigerian Flying Eagles U-20 camp ahead of this year’s AFCON in Ivory Coast.
The Independent Mirror reports that, in a statement released by Barau FC at midnight on Monday, revealed that, Ibrahim Yunusa joining the camp for screening ahead of the tournament.
The Flying Eagles are heading into the third week of their closed camping in Katsina in preparation for this year’s U-20 AFCON in Ivory Coast, scheduled to take place from April 26 to May 18.
Nigeria will commence their participation in the 2025 AFCON finals with a game against the Young Pharaohs of Egypt on Wednesday, April 30, at the 20,000-capacity Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo.
Ibrahim Yunusa Sulaiman played in the Nationwide League One (NLO) last season, contributing five goals in eight matches and helping Barau FC secure promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL) this year.
