The President of the Nigerian football federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, paid a condolence visit to the former international Garba Lawal MON and his family over the death of his mother Hajiya Aisha Garba, who passed away last Saturday.
The Independent Mirror reported that Gusau condoled with the family of the deceased at their residence in Bashama Road, Tudun Wada quarters in Kaduna state.
The president was represented by the general secretary of the federation, Dr. Sunusi Muhammad described Hajiya Aisha Garba as a caring mother and prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive all her shortcomings and put her in Jannatil Firdausi.
Responding on behalf of the deceased family, Garba Lawal MON thanked the President, board members of the federation, the Nigerian football family and Nigerian people for sending them condolence messages and prayed to God to bless them.
During the visit, the President was accompanied by the technical and sponsorship committees Chairman committee at the federation, Alhaji Sharif Rabi’u Ahlan, Jigawa State Chairman of Football Association Alhaji Sabo Abdullahi and some secretariat staff of the NFF among others.
