The Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room has expressed disappointment with the Independent National Electoral Commission over the conduct of the off-cycle governorship elections in three states of the country.
Briefing newsmen today in Abuja, the Convener of the group Yunusa Yau particularly expressed dissatisfaction with the electoral umpire for declaring candidate of the All Progressives Congress Usman Ododo as winner of the polls in Kogi despite widespread electoral violence.
He also listed isolated situations in Imo and Bayelsa States which he said had an adverse effect on the credibility of the polls.
