Real Madrid paid tribute to Abderrahim Ouhida, a survivor of the 2023 Morocco earthquake, by inviting him to take a special honorary kick-off at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday.

The Independent Mirror reports that, Abderrahim’s life was shattered in 2023 when the Al-Hawza earthquake claimed the lives of his parents, grandfather, two sisters and hundreds of peoples.

Ouhida, who was wearing a Real Madrid shirt during the quake and lost five family members in the tragic incident, stepped onto the pitch in Kylian Mbappé’s No. 10 jersey ahead of the La Liga clash against Espanyol.

His heartbreaking story touched the world, and this week he was able to fulfil one of his dreams visiting the Santiago Bernabéu.

On Tuesday, he watched the Champions League match against Olympique de Marseille live before meeting his idols and taking photographs with them.

He also toured Real Madrid City and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

After the match, he met the players, received autographs, and shared a special moment with Kylian Mbappé, who gifted him a signed shirt.
