Kano Pillars Para-Soccer team have won the Para-Soccer tournament after beating FCT team 2-0 in the Final at the ongoing Para Games in Abuja.
The Independent Mirror reported that the Para-Soccer final was played at the Moshood Abioloa National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday.
The second National Sports Games started on Saturday, and is expected to end on 12 December 2023 in the Capital city of Nigeria.
Sani Gimbiya and Umar Dahiru, scores the Kano Pillars Para-Soccer team, with the match ended two goals in the Final.
Shortly after the match, Kano Pillars Para-Soccer coach Ibrahim Musa said the victory is not for him only, is for Kano team entirely.
A total of nine states are participating in the Para-soccer competition. They are Kwara, Lagos, FCT Abuja, Bauchi, Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna, Jigawa and Plateau.
Independent Mirror reports that a total of 15 sports events are featuring in the second edition of the Para-Sports Games holding at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
