The Management of Kano State Polytechnic has organized a send-forth ceremony in honor of the outgoing Deputy Rector, Dr. Muhammad Umar Kibiya, whose tenure concluded today.
The Independent Mirror reports that the event, organized under the leadership of the Polytechnic Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, FCA, was held this week December 2025.
While speaking, the Rector, Dr. Abubakar, commended Dr. Kibiya’s sacrifices and dedication, noting that he has spent his career contributing immensely to educational development and the institution’s achievements.
Dr. Abubakar described him as a man of integrity and commitment who devoted his entire career to the service of the Polytechnic.
He emphasized that Dr. Kibiya’s exemplary leadership and work ethic have set a standard that will continue to inspire both staff and students within and beyond the institution.
The Rector also extended the management’s heartfelt appreciation and best wishes for Dr. Kibiya’s future endeavors.
In his response, Dr. Muhammad Umar Kibiya expressed deep gratitude for the recognition and support he received throughout his tenure.
He reflected on the collective efforts of management, staff, and students that contributed to the Polytechnic’s progress and pledged his continued support for its future growth and success.
