The Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club, Alhaji Ali Na Yara Mai Samba, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, on his recent appointment as the Acting President of the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B).
The Independent Mirror reports that in a statement issued by the Media & Communications Directorate of Kano Pillars FC, Nayara—on behalf of the entire management, players, and supporters of the club—described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Alhaji Gusau’s outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the growth and development of football in Nigeria and the West African sub-region.
“Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has consistently demonstrated capacity, vision, and integrity in his stewardship of Nigerian football, and we are proud to see him entrusted with an even greater regional responsibility. This appointment is not only a personal achievement but a win for Nigerian football,” the Chairman stated.
