The Kano State Bureau of Statistics has pledged to collaborate with the Kaduna Bureau of Statistics on the issue of Expertise in Consumer Price Index (CPI) computation.
The Independent Mirror reports that the General Kano State Bureau of Statistics Dr Aliyu Isa Aliyu made the announcement in a statement signed by Muhammad Tasi’u Abbas, technical assistant to the statistician general Kano State Bureau of Statistics.
The statement added that Kano Bureau of Statistics, has taken a step towards improving the economic statistics of the state by collaborating with the Kaduna Bureau of Statistics.

Last week, the Kano Statistician visited the Kaduna Bureau of Statistics to seek their expertise in Consumer Price Index (CPI) computation.
But on Wednesday October 2023, experts from Kaduna Bureau of Statistics arrived in Kano to begin the training of some of the Bureau staff on CPI computation.
The Bureau of Statistics thanks Aminu Magashi Garba (AMG) Foundation Dr Aminu Magashi Garba for providing the Bureau with a venue for the successful conduct of the training.
