The Jamilu Solidarity Group (JASOG), a grassroots political support organisation established to mobilise voters across Gombe State, has been officially inaugurated during a well-attended ceremony and dinner held over the weekend.
The Independent Mirror reports that this was contained in a statement signed by Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Media Aide to Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna.
The event brought together party stakeholders, loyalists, and supporters from across the state and was led by the group’s leader, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba.
In his remarks, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba stated that the formation of the Jamilu Solidarity Group was motivated by the need to consolidate grassroots support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.
“This movement is borne out of our collective commitment to ensure victory for Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna and all APC candidates. We have put in place a strong and effective structure that reaches from the state level down to the wards, ensuring that no voter is left untouched,” he said.
“Our mission is clear: to mobilise, educate, and engage voters at the grassroots. We are fully prepared to deliver results that will strengthen the APC and secure victory at all levels,” he added.
Responding, the APC governorship candidate in Gombe State, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, commended the initiative and described the inauguration of JASOG as a significant milestone in the party’s grassroots mobilisation efforts.
He urged members of the group to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to the ideals of the APC.
“I call on all members to sustain this momentum, engage communities peacefully, and work tirelessly to ensure that our message reaches every corner of the state. Together, we will achieve victory and build a more prosperous Gombe State,” he added.
