The management of the ‘Solid Miners’, Nasarawa United F C has successfully gotten the services of midfield maestro and former captain of Malumfashi Fc Daniel Ogujor Oghenekevwe, as the team continues to fortify for the start of the 2024/2025 NPFL season.
The Independent Mirror reports that the player put pen to paper for a two-year deal that will last till the 2025/2026 season subject to renewal.
Administrative Secretary of the club, Abimiku Dominic described the acquisition of the player as a sign of good things to come in the soon-to-start NPFL season as the technical adviser made a request to have the him in our squad ahead of the soon-to-begin NPFL season.
“We have successfully gotten the signatures of the midfielder, Oghenekevwe Daniel from Malumfashi Fc, And the player signed the dotted lines for us to play for Nasarawa in the next two seasons.
It is management’s belief that he is coming with a wealth of experience to help us challenge for a top finish in the 2024/2025 football season,” stated the astute administrator.
Also speaking, the Technical Adviser of Nasarawa, Coach Salisu Yusuf described the arrival of the player as great stressing, “With the coming of Oghenekevwe to join forces with other quality legs already on the ground, I am sure, we are steadily getting the right mix for a successful season.
