The Kano Pillars management board has promoted three players from under 17, Junior Kano Pillars, to the Senior Kano Pillars team ahead of the 2023/2024 half season.
The Independent Mirror reported that this was contained in a statement signed by Kano Pillars Media Officer Sharif Zahraddeen Usman Kofar Nassarawa on Tuesday.
Three players were Adamu Ibrahim Sani as a midfielder, Abdulmajid Aminu and Adamu Ibrahim Musa to serve in the attacking wings.
Adamu Falcao, the youngster player, netted over 40 goals for Junior Kano Pillar from 2020 to date, and he scored many Goals with Junior Kano Pillars.
Adamu, the young player, set to start for the second stanza of the season, and he also scored four goals with the Pillars in friendly matches.
The Executive Chairman of Kano Pillars FC, Alh Babangida Umar Little and Technical Advisor, coach Abdu Maikaba, charged the promoted players to prove their mettle in the task ahead and be good ambassadors for the Kano Pillars at all times.
Babangida Umar Little has commended the technical crew for the success of the team in the first stanza of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League.
He said Babangida Umar had little appreciated the performance of the coaches, which resulted in the club’s brilliant performance in the first stanza, earning the Pillars football team to occupy 4th position in the Premier League table with 32 points.
The Pillars’ chairman promised to take all necessary measures in solving the financial problems being experienced by the Sai Masu Gidan Team.
Alh Babangida Umar Little further commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his efforts in promoting the club, assuring the pillar board’s commitment to succeed in the 2nd Stanza of the competition after their four fourth recess.
The technical crew under technical of Coach Abdu Maikaba promised to continue working hard to emerge victorious in the rest of the matches in the second stanza to enable them to win the 2023/2024 Premier League trophy.
