The management of Bayero University Kano (BUK), led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Haruna Musa, paid the courtesy visit to the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin.
The Independent Mirror reports that the visits took place on Wednesday at the office of the Senator Barau Jibrin at the National Assembly in Abuja.
During the visit, the Vice Chancellor, on behalf of the management, staff, and students of the institution, expressed their profound appreciation for the Senator Barau’s immense contributions to the University Community.
“We are especially touched by your personal sacrifices and unwavering generosity-most notably, your proposal to upgrade the New Campus Football Stadium.” Haruna Musa said.
“Such selfless service is a true reflection of your deep commitment to humanity, faith, and community development. The University wholeheartedly acknowledges this laudable gesture and prays that Almighty Allah rewards you abundantly with good health, enduring prosperity, and continued blessings,” he added.
While speaking Senator Barau Jibrin thanked the management of the reputable citadel of higher learning for the visit and assured them for the support.
Recall that the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I Jibrin, has said he concluded the arrangement to upgrade the facilities at the Bayero University Kano (BUK) stadium so that the national league and other football activities can be held there.
