The Bichi First FC is pleased to announce the official unveiling of Coach Abubakar Musa as the Technical Adviser of the club.
The Independent Mirror reports in a statement signed by the Bichi First FC Media and Communication Directorate confirmed the development.
The ceremony was held today at the club’s premises and was witnessed by the Club President, Honourable Dr. Engr. Abubakar Kabir Bichi (Abba Bichi), member representing Bichi Local Government, Kano State.
Coach Abubakar Musa, a former Flying Eagles and Super Eagles player, had a distinguished playing career with Jigawa Golden Stars, Eagle Cement, Dolphins FC, Enyimba, and in Saudi Arabia.
He has also gained valuable coaching experience as Assistant Coach to Coach Abdu Maikaba at Plateau United and Kano Pillars FC, working with coaches like Usman Abdullah, and recently with Evans Ogenyi at Kano Pillars FC.
Expressing his delight at being appointed as the Technical Adviser of Bichi First FC, Coach Abubakar Musa thanked the Club President and Management for the confidence reposed in him.
He sought their maximum support to play the kind of fantastic football that the club and its fans will be proud of. Coach Musa also extended his gratitude to the Management, Technical Crew, players, and fans of Kano Pillars FC.
In his remarks, the President of Bichi First FC, Hon. Dr. Engr. Abubakar Kabir Bichi, expressed happiness in unveiling Coach Abubakar Musa due to his impressive profile, expertise, and experience as a former footballer and coach.
The President stated that it is the club’s mission to empower youths in the sporting sector within his federal constituency and Kano State. He established Bichi First FC to harness the abundant talents in his constituency and Kano State, aiming to steer youths away from illicit activities.
The President also highlighted plans for an ultra-modern 18,000-seated stadium in Bichi, a project that will be a source of pride for Kano State and Northern Nigeria. He thanked the new management and assured them of his full support.
Bichi First FC looks forward to a successful partnership with Coach Abubakar Musa as the club prepares to compete in the Nigerian National League.
