The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabiru Yusuf, said soon School Of Basic Mass Communication BMC to start Offering Dimploma in Mass Communication.
The Independent Mirror reported that Abba Kabiru Yusuf was represented by Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, stated this on Saturday at the 38-year anniversary organised by the Basic Mass Communication Old Students Association (BAMCOSA).
Governor Abba emphasized the importance of focusing on education, assuring that the state government’s doors are always open for advice and cooperation.
Also, Governor Yusuf called on students, parents and citizens to collaborate in the development of Kano State and Nigeria at large, especially on Education Development.
Aminu Abdussalam assured that as soon as Governor Abba Kabiru Yusuf return from Umrah, he would all discuss all necessary matter for upgrading the BMC to start offering a Diploma.
“The sky is not the limit but the beginning. He encouraged them to give back to their duties for the best knowledge acquired during their study programs with”
“This is a clear example of illustrating that education is never a waste, regardless of its scale or where one seeks knowledge. It is a seed sowed, and with dedicated attention,” Amimu Abdussalam added.
He also urged students to broaden their horizons by exploring entrepreneurial knowledge and contributing to the work with diligence rate upon completion of their studies.
The event was attended by the Kano State Education Commission Haruna Umar Doguwa, Commissioner of Information Baba Halilu Dantiye, and Aisha Saji Rano Women, Disabled commissioner of Kano State.
The School Of Basic Mass Communication is located in an agency for mass Education with over 30 years.
