The Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu has described his hope on securing three points when Nigeria faces Tunisia in their opening match of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, on Thursday.

The Independent Mirror reports that Flying Eagles of Nigeria will battle the Junior Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Thursday, as the first encounter group stage match.

While speaking to NFF media Aliyu Zubair said that “the previous friendly match result with Egypt has given us the right momentum heading into this encounter with Tunisia another tough North African side,”

“However, it doesn’t mean we’ll be complacent. It simply gives us the confidence to tackle what lies ahead.”

“Our goal is to claim maximum points against Tunisia, and then take each game as it comes.”

The Flying Eagles are drawn in the same group B as Morocco and Kenya, following their opening fixture against Tunisia
