The Association of communication Scholars and professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) Northwest Zone, under the National President Professor Umar Pate, has organized a One-day Workshop on TIPS for writing research grants proposal.
Independent Mirror report that, the workshop took place at Bayero University Kano New site, Broadcasting Complex, Faculty of Mass Communication on Tuesday 29 August, 2023.
The It was at a workshop, tagged: “On TIPS for writing award winning research grants proposal”
The focus of the workshop was to highlight, how to write, review and proffer solutions to the writing on TIPS for writing research grants proposal.
Participants at the workshop, which was held at the Broadcasting Complex of university, included Heads of Department of Mass Communication from 3 institutions in the North West geo-political Zone of the Nigeria.
Prof. Umaru Pate, President of ACSPN, urged Participants to use what they learn in proper way, in order to know how it’s very important for there life activities.
Pate who is also the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Kashere, Gombe express his happines the way Participants pay attention a time workshop is going.
On his remark Professor, Nasir Faruk Telecommunications and Information Technology, at Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa who has presented his two papers, one Background of grant proposal writing and collobrative research.
And the second paper Professor, Nasir Faruk presented is, anatomy of a grant application on writing on TIPS for writing research grants proposal.
Prof. Faruk also a Director, Information Communication Technology at Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa, urged younger generations of scholars and professionals to know the rules and regulation on writing proposal.
The workshorp attended from the far and near students, included Heads of Department of Mass Communication from the North West geo-political Zone Jigawa, Kaduna and Kano.
