Barau FC Partners with NDLEA Kano in Fight Against Drug Abuse

The management of Barau Football Club, has officially announced a strategic partnership with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kano State, to fight against Drug Abuse among young people.

The Independent Mirror reports in a statement signed by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Barau FC Media Officer, revealed that the collaboration aims to work together with the agency and the football team, in order to organise the awareness program among the youth.

As part of this partnership, Barau FC’s replica jerseys to the agency team and other sports materials.

The partnership came following the delegation of Barau FC, paid a courtesy visit to the NDLEA Kano commandant Abubakar Idris Ahmad on Wednesday in his office.

The delegation under the Chairman of Barau FC, Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, visited the agency, to meet and collaborate with the NDLEA Kano State Commandant.

Chairman Barau FC, Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this recent development between the club and NDLEA.

While speaking, the NDLEA Kano Commandant, A.I. Ahmad, described the visit as an effort, he call support from the community to take measures to talkling drug abuse among teenagers.
