The Chief Executive Officer of Nationwide League One (NLO) Alhaji Hassan Garo said, organising a Business Summit in Kano to Promote Sports Activities in North and Entire Country at all.
The Independent Mirror reported that Hassan Garo made this in a media briefing held at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Saturday, 18 November 2023.
Garo said the NLO has concluded all the necessary planning for conducting two important events ,which include a football tournament for some selected clubs from the Northern and Southern part of Nigeria.
Kano and Akwa Ibom Cities are to host a football competition that brings together teams aiming to showcase their efforts on the pitch.
Garo noted that the football clubs that will participate from the northern part of the country include Tudun wada FC, Super Star Sheka FC, Kwankwassiya FC and Barau/Murtala FC, which play in Kano State.

Others were Zeal Fac from Benue, Real Minners FC from Abujaand NE from Kwara, while those from the Southern part will converge in Uyo Akwa Ibom state.
Hassan Garo also explained that the Football Business summit will be held as soon as by the Football League in Northern and Southern Country.
He added that football has evolved into an international business, making strategic investment critical for sustained success.
Garo also said the idea of choosing Kano State was intentional because it is the center of commerce that promotes the Entire Sports Activities at all.
