NUJ Kano Commends Governor Yusuf For Ramadan Donation To Journalist

The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kano State Council has commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for distributing bags of rice to journalists in the state during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Independent Mirror reports that the Kano State Governor made the donation to various journalist unions in the state to enhance their welfare during Ramadan.

Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, NUJ Kano Chairman, expressed appreciation for the 450 bags of rice provided by the state government on behalf of NUJ members and other journalist unions.

Dederi also acknowledged Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment to improving the welfare of media practitioners and fostering a media-friendly environment.

It will be recalled that on Sunday, the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, distributed over 450 bags of rice to various journalist associations in the state, including the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), among others.
