No Amount of Endorsements Can Save a Wicked Government Like APC

by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale

In a country where the people are groaning under the weight of hardship, insecurity, poverty, and poor governance, no number of endorsements—whether from political allies, celebrities, or traditional rulers—can cover up the truth. Nigerians are suffering, and they can see clearly through the noise.

The recent viral statement allegedly made by Bolaji Abdullahi, a former spokesman of the APC, saying, “You cannot do the job without lying” is not just shocking—it is a damning confession. It pulls the mask off a party that promised change but delivered pain.

This is not just about politics—it is about truth, justice, and the everyday reality of millions of Nigerians.

When a party becomes so disconnected from the people that its own former spokesperson openly admits that deception is necessary to defend it, that party has failed.

The APC, which once rose to power on a wave of hope and promises, has turned into a symbol of hardship and wickedness for many.

No PR campaign, no stage-managed endorsement, and no paid influencer can erase the fact that the streets are angry, hungry, and tired.

Endorsements don’t build roads. Endorsements don’t reduce the price of food. Endorsements don’t bring back safety to our communities.

The people have seen through the lies, and no amount of whitewashing can clean the stains of suffering that this government has left behind.

Let it be known: the will of the people is stronger than any political propaganda. And when the people are no longer with you, no endorsement can save you.
