The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa MON (Kigon Gusau), has congratulated Senator Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari (Marafan Sokoto) on his appointment as the Director-General of the campaign organisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election.
The Independent Mirror reports that Alhaji Ibrahim Musa MON (Kigon Gusau), President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), stated this in a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
In his congratulatory message, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa MON described Senator Yari as a complete gentleman, confident and experienced leader whose leadership qualities, dedication and commitment to political service have consistently contributed in no small measure to the development of Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.
“As my brother and leader, I certainly believe, without any fear of contradiction, that he is equal to the task of the responsibility assigned to him by the President. By the special grace of God, he will deliver, considering the fact that he is hardworking, dedicated and committed to whatever assignment he is entrusted with.
“These qualities enabled him to make significant contributions to the development of our state during his tenure as Executive Governor of Zamfara State.
“Apparently, as he embarks on this gigantic but important assignment as Director-General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, I am confident that he will make proper and judicious use of his vast experience towards achieving the set objectives nationwide.
