NFCA Kano Organises Two-day Modern football coaches seminar

The Nigerian Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Kano chapter has organized a two-day Modern Football Coaches Seminar in Kano state.

The Independent Mirror reports that the seminar, in a collaboration with Kano State Football Association, took place in Kano state, between 17-18, August 2024 at the Senior Staff Recreation Center, BUK New Site, Kano.

Topics discussed included modern football methods, coaching qualities and responsibilities, media and communication in football coaching.

Others include grassroots football coaching philosophy, sports science in football coaching and management, football marketing and scouting, as well as the Laws of the Game.

Speaking at the seminar NFCA Kano chapter Chairman, Magistrate Ibrahim Gwadabe, expressed his gratitude to the participants, partners, and stakeholders.

He also emphasized the support, contribution from the Government and individuals for the activities of capacity building in Kano.

With over 145 coaches from Kano and other states in Nigeria attended the seminar, which aimed to support, enhance their knowledge and skills in modern football coaching.

The seminar attended by the experts and dignitaries, including Ibrahim Gwadabe, Coach Salisu D Black, Coach Abdul Maikaba, Usman Abdallah, Abdulgafar Oladimeji.

Others include chairman of Barau FC Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, Dr. Nura Garba, Nasiru Ibrahim NRA and Professor Rabiu Muhd Chanhu, and Kano Sports Commission acting chairman Malam Bala Sani.
