The Katsina State Government has approved the dissolution of Katsina United Football Club management with immediate effect.
The Independent Mirror reported that this was contained in a statement signed by the State Sports Commissioner, Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, dated on October 11 , 2023.
According to the statement, the dissolution of the management was followed by state government efforts towards reconstituting and reinvigorating key government institutions for better service delivery.
The release further approved the appointment of an interim Management Committee to steer the affairs of the Club pending the appointment of a substantive management committee.
Those appointed to head the affairs of the Club as members of the interim management committee are as follows:-
1:- Alh Kabir Danlami Rimi (KADMASH)
2:- Gaddafi Muhammad Rudwa
3- Aminu Abdullahi Leno
4:- Abubakar Sani
According to the release, the outgoing management is to hand over the affairs of the club, including all assets, to the interim management committee with immediate effect.
In the release, the state government appreciate the effort of the outgoing management’s profound contribution and wishes them all the best in their future endeavours.
