Abdulmumin Kofa redeems over 10m Upkeep promise For Kiru/Bebeji Students

The Kano State Member representing Kiru/Bebeji in the National Assembly, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, has redeemed upkeep, students in his constituency from a fund he established in 2011, the Kiru/Bebeji Students’ Support Fund.

The Independent Mirror reported that this was contained in a statement signed by Sani Ibrahim Paki, Media Aide to Abdulmumin Kofa on Saturday 26, November 2023.

Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa released the sum of 10 million Naira to them to be used for their upkeep of the students.

The fund has provided scholarships to thousands of students and has been providing accommodation, payments of fees for WAEC, NECO, NBAIS, JAMB and many other needs of the students.

The event was attended by the Kano State Commissioner of higher Education Dr Yusuf Kofar Mata, Prof. Shehu Tijjani, Prof. Nasir T. Dabo Kiru.

Others, Prof. Maharazu Yusuf Bebeji, Hon Usman Rabula, Hon Ali Tiga, Alh Sanusi Kwankwaso and also NUT Chairmen of Kiru and Bebeji, executive of the students’ unions of Kiru and Bebeji and some of the beneficiaries as well as some community leaders of his constituency.
