Kano Pillars captain Rabi’u Ali Pele and his teammates in the Super Eagles B team held their first training session at the Remo Stars Stadium in preparation for the upcoming CHAN qualifiers against Ghana.
The Independent Mirror reports that the training session, which took place on Thursday, saw the participation of 30 NPFL invited players.
The team is gearing up for a double-header against Ghana’s Black Stars B, with the first leg scheduled for December 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium and the return leg on December 28 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Head Coach Augustine Eguavoen has invited 30 players to camp as the NFF reaffirms its commitment to securing the Super Eagles B’s qualification for the CHAN 2025 tournament, scheduled to take place in February 2025 across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Notable players in attendance at the training session included Ismail Sadiq from Remo Stars, Musa Zayyad from El-Kanemi Warriors, Anas Yusuf of Nasarawa United, Abiam Nelson, and Adams Aminu Sani from Kano Pillars.
