NSSF: National Inter Secondary schools boys & girls Milo b/ball commence today Sunday in Lagos

This year’s national inter secondary schools Milo basketball finals will commence today Sunday at the indoor sports hall of the national stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The Independent Mirror reports that the tournament final is expected to attract the host state Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Gombe, Niger, Cross River, Oyo, Bayelsa and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja.

A statement signed by the president of the Nigerian School Sports Federation NSSF, Bisi Joseph said arrangements have been put in place towards the success of the championship.

She called on the participant teams to exhibit sportsmanship in order to actualize it set objectives.

Joseph assured that the organisers and the competition’s sponsor would do everything possible to ensure free and fair tournament.

Meanwhile, the director of sports in the Kano state ministry of education, Malam Ibrahim Bello applauded Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his unflinching support morally and financially to the state contingent.

Bello assured that the Team Kano will do its best to ensure they project the good image of the state in the championship.
