The Commandant General of Kano Hisbah, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has returned to his position following a truce brokered by an assembly of Islamic scholars.
The Independent Mirror reported that Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa resigned via a viral video while attending a retreat organised by the state House of Assembly attributed his action to open criticism of Hisba operatives and action.
Sheikh Daurawa, accompanied by Ulamas, was seen at the Government House with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Multiple sources said Dr Said Ahmad Dukawa who addressed the Newsmen on behalf of the Council said Sheikh Daurawa will return to his office and continue from where he stopped.
Those that attended the reconciliation meeting are a renown medical Doctor Professor Musa Borodo, Professor Salisu Shehu among others.
