Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) clubs Ranchers Bees, Rangers International, and Kano Pillars have all expressed interest in signing former Barau FC midfielder Nana Kwame Abraham following the expiration of his contract with the Kano-based club.

The Independent Mirror reports that top clubs in the Niger Super Ligue, including AS FAN, US Gendarmerie, and AS GNN, are also competing for the signature of the Ghanaian midfielder ahead of the new season.

Nana Kwame, 23, is regarded as one of the most promising young players in the region and has attracted interest from clubs in both Nigeria and the Republic of Niger after an impressive 2025/2026 NPFL campaign with Barau FC.

AS FAN, US Gendarmerie, and AS GNN all finished in the top four of the recently concluded Niger Super Ligue season and are looking to strengthen their squads with the addition of Nana Kwame Abraham.

The Ghanaian previously featured for AS Garde Nationale, where he won several domestic honours, including the Niger Premier League and the Niger Cup.

AS Garde Nationale has also represented Niger in continental competitions such as the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
