Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle Visits NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Nigerian Sports Commission (NSC), Malam Shehu Dikko, to discuss strategies for advancing football development in the country.

The Independent Mirror reports that, Chelle, the Franco-Malian tactician appointed on January 7, met with the NSC chairman as part of efforts to strengthen Nigerian football.

During the visit, Chelle commended Malam Shehu Dikko for his dedication and unwavering support for sports development in Nigeria.

Recalls that, NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko recently urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to ensure the Super Eagles’ qualification for upcoming tournaments.

The Dikko’s call was made during a visit by Nigerian Football Federation NFF President Ibrahim Gusau to the NSC Secretariat las month.

The Super Eagles are set to regroup in September and October for their final four qualifying matches, as Eric Chelle aims to reignite the team’s hopes and inspire confidence among Nigerian football fans.

Shehu Dikko led a high-level delegation, including Ahmad Kawu and Rosy Media aides, to welcome the Super Eagles coach, with meeting focused on engaging key stakeholders in sports development.

Under Malam Shehu Dikko’s leadership, the Nigerian Sports Commission remains committed to collaborating with both local and international stakeholders to implement policies that will enhance sports development in Nigeria.
